Recommendation Fabel 2 PC Version
Will there ever be a release date for a Fable 2 PC version? That is a question that has been asked by many fans because the original release from the successful sequel. Now with the discharge of the third game in the series this year and it is impending PC version release in 2011, many fans continue to be left to wonder. Can there be ever going to be a Fable 2 for PC release date, or has that time come and gone?
A brief history from the game series begins with the original Fable. The game was originally released on the console platform. Its huge initial success though lead the developer to port the game over to the PC. Eventually a sequel followed on the major console platforms with Fable 2. Next, Fable 3 was released on major console platforms and the PC version soon followed.
To this day there is still no PC version of Fable 2. In 2009, Lionhead Studios told the gaming media that their sequel am successful that they would essentially have to create a PC version from the game. However, that same year an associate from the Lionhead development team told gaming media that they were no longer working on the PC port of the game coupled with no intention of ever doing so.
If there never is a computer version of the game, this wouldn’t mark the very first time that the successful game series has abandoned a publishing platform mid-series. When Epic released the very first Gears of War game, they’d a similar experience as Lionhead Studios. Their game was originally released for console platforms, however the success from the game lead them to release it on the PC as well. However when the studio chose to release the sequel, Gears of War 2, installed the gaming world on notice once they informed them that there could be no PC version of the sequel, ever.
Fans have attempted to create an emulated version of Fable 2 for that PC with limited success. They’re left to wonder though when the developer has not released a PC version from the game, can they ever do so? There doesn’t appear to be much interest, nor does it seem sensible, for the developer from the game to go backwards within the series. Instead of go backwards making a Fable 2 for PC version, celebrate much more sense to allow them to move forwards and create Fable 4. Fans will have to hope that there is both a console and PC version for the fourth game within the series.
